Teachers at Bay Springs Middle School have received the District Level STEM Certification, and we are 1 of 2 Nationally Certified STEM middle schools in the state of Georgia.  STEM is the idea of educating students in an interdisciplinary and applied approach.  Rather than teach as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates content material into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.  At Bay Springs Middle School, we are using STEM to promote a culture of creative thinking. 

Students have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive STEM class offered through their connections classes. Students also participate in Science Olympiad and the Carroll County Technology Fair.
